Kara joins friend and pianist Jared Mikach for a recital of Spanish and South American song programmed around the mission and values of SHE Shed, a nonprofit local to Minnesota dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence. The recital will feature music by Libby Larsen, Irma Urteaga, and Anna Cazurra.
Jared Mikach is a fiscal year 2026 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
